Paul Components Chain Keeper - Black

The Chain Keeper is a guide to keep your chain right where it belongs.

Mounted in place of a front derailleur, the Chain Keeper works with single chain ring drivetrains using a narrow chain. The chain block surrounds the chain as it meets the chainring and prevents it from skipping off.

The Chain Keeper clamps on to the seat tube of the frame. The portion of seat tube where the clamp mounts must have a circular profile and a diameter of 28.6, 31.8, or 35.0mm, (+/-0.5mm).

Designed with adjustability in mind, the Chain Keeper can accommodate a range of chainline measurements and chainring sizes. However please note that Chain Keeper may not work with all frames.

Note: This product is not designed for downhill, freeride, or big hit use.

Paul Components Rack Adapter

The Rack Adapter is a simple piece of hardware that adds threaded mounting posts to our brake pivots. Small front or rear racks can mount to these posts for a strong connection and integrated appearance.

Rack Adapters replace the brake bolts that threads into the center of Paul's brake pivots. The threaded posts that extend from them have 5mm threads and include a nylock nut.

Installation and spring adjustment is the same as with the original brake pivot hardware, except that a 9/16 inch wrench is used in place of a 5mm hex wrench for tightening the pivot.

Please note that Paul Components Rack Adapters are not compatible with Racer or Racer M brakes.

Like all Paul Components products it’s built to the highest standards for function and ease of use.

The Tall & Handsome has a generous setback of 26mm, perfect for the shorter rails of Brooks saddles. If you do not like setback in your seat post then this may not be your first choice, but if you ride a Brooks saddle that you can't get quite far enough back you'll love this seat post.

The head and shaft are made from a special high strength 2024 aluminium alloy. The shaft is precision ground to 27.2mm and the head is machined separately before being screwed and bonded into the shaft.

The two bolts sit on spherical washers that allow them to pivot and self align to the cradle. The clamp can be adjusted to tilt the saddle's nose up or down with a range of roughly 15 degrees, and precise angle adjustments are made by loosening one screw and tightening the other.

Position is adjusted by loosening both screws an equal amount and moving the saddle. Because of use of two screws slippage is eliminated.

The Paul Components Stem Cap Light Mount is a great way to mount a light, computer, power meter, or GPS unit right in the centre of your handlebar and stem. The Stem Cap Light Mount is machined from 6061 aluminium and is anodized.

Designed to replace the top cap of a threadless stem, this light mount provides a perch for accessories that would normally mount on the handlebars. This is especially useful if your bars are already crowded by grips, brake levers and shifters.

Paul Components Gino Light Mount - Black

Some of the best ideas are the simplest, and the Gino Light Mount is a clever part with a simple design.

The Gino Light Mount provides a mounting point for handlebar lights wherever there is an M5 threaded eyelet on your frame. With the Gino lights can be positioned at mid-fork or down by the dropouts, or attached to rack eyelets on the back of the frame.

By lowering the attachment point of your light it casts its beam on the ground at a much shallower angle. This results in a lighting pattern that better reveals contours and hidden bumps in the road.

Paul Components Bearing

These 15mm replacement bearings are provided for servicing Paul Components front and rear hubs.

Manufactured by Enduro they use 52100 High Carbon Chromium Alloy Races with heat treating followed by cryogenic treatment. The balls are Grade 3.

Paul Components bearings feature two rubber seals which ride in a grooves machined into the bearing to prevent contamination.

Racer Medium features an additional bridge piece that runs between the pivots and allows the Racer Medium to mount to frames with a single brake mounting hole above the tire. The option is given for a shorter recessed bolt to work with modern frames. In this setup the Racer Medium is a medium reach brake with a range of 47 to 57mm.
The Racer Medium come with all necessary hardware: mounting bolts, straddle wire, cable carrier, and a pair of salmon Koolstop Thinline brake pads.
Between the arms there is enough clearance to fit a 45mm fender and a 32mm wide tire. We think this is a perfect combination for an all-around do-everything road bike if there ever was one. As a bonus, the brake will not pinch the side of the fender like dual pivot brakes do.
