WORKSHOP PRICING

Brick Lane Bikes hosts a popular and busy fully fitted workshop in-store at our East London location. A number of experienced professional mechanics are always on site during our opening hours. No booking required, just pop in – we generally aim for same day service (bikes brought in by midday are usually ready by the end of the day), but please feel free to call first during busy times, or if you need anything specific – we’ll maybe book you in - +44 (0)207 033 9053.

Please note, these prices do not include parts are are listed only as a guide, costs will be confirmed on an individual basis.

Our minimum hourly labour charge is £80
Our minimum non-mechanic labour charge is £10 (such as fitting grips, pedals, bottle cages, locks, lights etc).

BASIC MECHANIC FITTING - £15.00

• Bar Tape Fitting (not inc. materials)
• Cutting Bars to size (not inc. materials)
• Fitting bars (road bars from £15 inc. re-fitting bar tape, shifters and levers)
• Fitting of racks, mudguards & baskets

BRONZE SERVICE - £45.00

• Bike safety check
• Nut and bolts tightened
• Tyres pumped

Basic Service - £80.00

• Frame and Forks checked for damage
• Headset and steering bolts checked and adjusted
• Bottom bracket and crankset checked and externally adjusted
• Hubs checked and externally adjusted
• Wheel true checked (not including truing – from £15 extra)
• Brakes checked and adjusted
• Gears checked and adjusted
• Drive greased if necessary
• Tyres – checked for wear, pumped to correct pressure
• Safety check of all fittings

Full Service - £120.00

As above but including: Full removal of drive components (chain, crank set, mechs, sprocket) cleaned, refitted and greased as well as wheel truing, internal hub, headset and bottom bracket servicing.

CLEANING

• Drivetrain clean – removed and degreased £25
• Full bike clean – bubble bath and drivetrain degreased £35
