At Brick Lane Bikes, we sell new and vintage bikes, frames, parts and accessories via our website www.bricklanebikes.co.uk to customers all around the world.
We take customers' privacy and confidentiality very seriously and will never disclose, rent, sell or trade a buyer's information with any marketing third parties. All information is securely encrypted and we take every step to protect customer data.

When someone visits www.bricklanebikes.co.uk we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.

We use a third party organisation, Adroll, to help us target recent visitors to our site who use Facebook and remind them of BLB.
To do this, Adroll place cookies on a visitor’s browser, collect information about the pages they have viewed, details of their IP address and the type of device they’re using. They then use this data to show BLB adverts when the viewer is using Facebook. No personal data is used by any other organisations and Adroll ‘de-identify’ data so that it is highly secure.

As part of the registration process we collect personal information. We use that information for 3 reasons:
1. To build an account for you so that you can keep a history of your purchases
2. To allow us to add you to our mailing list and tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about.

• Details of the latest designs we’re working on and who we’re working with
• News of the latest products and when they’re (finally) arriving
• Images of the latest Vintage bikes and frames Jan and Maciek have found on their scouting trips
• Invites to rides and events
3. To contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. When you purchase products on www.bricklanebikes.co.uk your name, address data, email and contact number and what you’ve purchased will be stored in our secure database system.
We hold no card or payment information. All payments are handled through an encrypted, highly secure partner Sagepay or Paypal. If you would like to make a payment over the phone, we have direct access to a Barclays Bank portal to take secure payments in GDP £.
Under the new GDPR laws, you are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold about you. Email your request to our Data Protection Officer via email@example.com and we’ll come back to you within 5 working days.
