Traditionally, steel bikes were zinc-dipped before being painted. The zinc created a non-corrosive barrier to prevent rust and prolong the frame’s life. Spray.Bike's cold-zinc spray primer honours that tradition and provides unrivalled protection against corrosion on steel bike frames.

Specifications

• 400ml
• 95% galvanised zinc primer
• spray distance should be at least 20 cm
• apply internally and externally to raw steel tubing before painting
• maximum one coat recommended
• drying time is around 30 minutes to 1 hour
• alternative to the Frame Builder’s Metal Primer (steel frames only)
